do you guys think we should have cross platform 360+xbone

I really think this would be awesome to play with xbox 360 players especially if the halo master chief collection is coming out that would be nice.

What do you guys think???

Its NOT cross platform, meaning (probably) that if you are participating in Clan Wars, the stats from the guys playing on the 360 will not/should not count towards the Clan on the Xbones stats.

PC guys would have the KB/M advantage and probably an advantage over the Xbone with speed too. The games wouldnt "work" well together or it would all have to be "dumbed" down for the 360 on the Xbone and PC. I say keep it no cross platform.

That would be a cool thing but it just isnt possible.

 

Anything is possible with Microsoft as they are the master when it comes to software so programming shouldn't be a problem.

 

I believe due to different hardware between the two it just isn't possible.

 

Actually Happy Wars had announced they will be having cross platform play when it comes to the Xbox One.

Calling it "Xbone" won't help. People have moved on from that term. To answer your question, probably. The game that has so far been announced for cross play between Xbox One and 360 is Happy Wars. Keep a lookout on Xbox wire for future announcements.

 

There is no technical reason it can't be done, they had cross-platform play between the 360 and PC after all.

Far more likely the reason it wont be done is that they want to encourage people to upgrade to an Xbox One.

 

I think it's kind of pointless. Everyone will need to go get an Xbone eventually, so putting cross-platform play would kind of be pointless.

 

Nope. Two different Platforms. Xbox One has a different set of hardware and requirements then the 360 does

 

So is that why there was cross-platform play between the 360 and the PC?

Both of them had different hardware and it was no barrier, so why should that be for the 360 and the One?

 

Terrible idea , I off-loaded my 360 for a ONE to get away from helmets that couldn't play without cheating or using modded pads , for now the ONE is pretty much cheater free , so I'd like to keep playing that way thanks .

 

The One wont remain cheater free for long now that the USB storage update is out. Now the modders don't have to take their console apart to get at the game files and saves.
