Do You Care About The HALO 5 BETA?

Halo 5 is what fans of H2 and H3 have been waiting for IMO. Spawn points seem to work great, it's fast paced, and everyone is on even playing ground. It has an old school feel yet modernized at the same time. The AI call outs are great. I've had a blast
with it. Can't stop playing it really. Had my X1 listed for sale for a few weeks now. AC bundle with MCC for $320. Was about ready to go as low as $300 because of the disaster MCC was and still is (don't think so try BTB). It's not for sale now.

 

Thus far i am not overly in love with the Beta...just feels like another Halo..which was fine with Halo 1 and 2 led the industry but now they are seriously behind more or less every other FPS.

'seriously behind more or less every other FPS'. You mean like the CODs (lol)? There isn't much left that hasn't already been done. It all boils down to fun for me, whether it feels revolutionary or not. IMO they have just the right combination of modernization,
but with the kind of MP gameplay that used to draw quite the crowd.

There is nothing 'advanced' that I know of in 'every other' FPS out there.

 

@goth a lot of players now like myself don't see the point in spending countless hours playing a couple of maps in a Beta. Reason being no progress carries over and once you have given it a couple of hours you know what the jist is and go back to your regular
games. Same thing happened with BF4 and Titanfall betas. It is just not worth sinking to much time into no matter how much you love a franchise.

 

Actually, 343i said that certain things you achieve, like unlocks and perhaps progress in some areas, DO carry over to the final version.

 

Played one round and not a fan of the MP

 

The armour unlocks carry over to live apparently. I have only been playing a bit lately because they updated it with some dedicated server support and my shots are actually registering now.

 

I think its not really getting any recognition because we actually have a decent amount of games to play unlike when other betas were released. I played a few rounds and its pretty fun and might do a few more but ive got enough stuff in my backlog to put
a ton of time in.

 

If armor unlocks is all that carries over then definitely not worth playing to much. Also don't want to ruin it for myself when it actually gets released.

 

I thought it will be add next week....But there is already a new game mode and 2 new maps.

Wouldn't say that theres anything wrong with MCC mp for the most part(little things need fixing). Its getting into mp thats the problem. That in itself doesn't make the mp bad.
