Do Xbox 360 codes work on Xbox One?

As the title says. Just wondering, because I pre ordered the 'Destiny: Ghost Edition' for 360 and I was curious if the extra in-game content codes will work on Xbox One. I sold my 360 when the One came out. All the Local Gamestop people say they do. I was
also looking online by Googling this question, and couldn't find an answer.

Problems with activating game codes.

Well. I finally got the fallout 3 code to work. I dug out an old Xbox 360 and the code worked fine on it. However the Farcry ones are still not working. On 360 they error with not being valid, on Xbox one and the website, they are valid but still do not
work when I confirm purchase.

This is beyond frustrating now.

This is fortunately not the case for Rock Band DLC on the Xbox 360. :smashin:

However, the code might not work on a non-US account (at the moment), so that could an issue for someone who hasn't created a fake US Xbox Live account (or doesn't want to use that account to redeem the code).

 

Gold subscription cards and currency cards would work on both, but generally game content will only work for the console it's made for.

 

I was told that the codes use the same redemption server(s) and will work on One by a Gamestop Store manager, but I have no proof or evidence that they do. Are you sure about this?

 

Gold and currency are shared between both consoles, so those cards will work on both. Game content is specific to the console it was made for. So if the code is for the 360, then the content will only work on the 360 (unless stated differently on the card).
