    Do XB1 Controllers have unique serial numbers?


    Long story short I bought 2 wireless controllers and they both have the same S/Ns.

    They are both 3.5mm jack ones came with play and charge kit. Does MS use common S/Ns for their controllers or are they unique for each and every one?

    I am a little afraid that these might be fake... They did however did the firmware update without issues, so if these are fakes they are *** good fakes.

    Sorry but the controllers do not have listed serial numbers.

    Broken elite controller stick, can't use the serial number to register and get a replacement.

    I have a broken R-Stick on my elite controller, I want to replace it but every time I enter the serial number it dosn't work. I have read online that elite controllers serial numbers don't work. How do I enter the serial number?

    Nevermind, I did not look at the entire S/Ns carefully, there were one or two numbers that were different in the middle so yes both my controllers have unique S/Ns and I am pretty 100% are legit.

    Nevermind, I did not look at the entire S/Ns carefully, there were one or two numbers that were different in the middle so yes both my controllers have unique S/Ns and I am pretty 100% are legit.

    There really is no way to track it unless you have a serial number and its unique to the item.

    You should call
    Xbox Live Support    , and have the console's serial number ready. After your info is verified, they can provide the unique unlock code for the console that will reset it to factory defaults and remove all parental controls.
