Do weapons do more damage while ADS?

Hey There.

There are weapons in Destiny that have perks which allow for increased stability, reduced recoil etc. while ADS. These are usually common to Epic and Legendary weapons and to some extent Rare Weapons as well. With the reforge ability introduced in Expansion
2: House of Wolves. Although it technically does not increase your DPS per round, it does allow for your to be more lethal and landing more rounds into your target.

Shot package for example tightens the spread of your shotgun blast so that you have the potential to land the maximum potential damage from single round of your shotgun. It is really deadly at close range and the risk of missing and losing nearly all damage
output.

There is another perk that increases your effective range when ADS which again does not increase the DPS per round, but does make you more lethal than an identical weapon without it.

I just use bows and daggers, daggers are good up front or behind.

With the weapons, I believe Daggers do the least damage but at the quickest, one hand sword would do slighty more damage but be bit slower. Basically the stronger the weapon, the slower it will be. Daggers are the fastest while Maces etc are the slowest I believe.

I would love some dragon bone or scale weapons. The bone weapons could be heavier and do more damage while the scale weapons are lighter and do a little less damage. Weight would not be an issue with my archer and warrior characters, but my mage would have
to manage the weight.

I occasionally run across an Ebony weapon, but I can't get it high enough to compete with my Glass Bow because I focused on the light armor side.

It is really only useful for mage/thieves or mage/assassins. Normal stealth based assassins/thieves do not really benefit from bound weapons...

POS weapon anyway. I could throw skittles at the enemy and it would do more damage.
