    Do we assume Fallout 3 is being made backward compatible?


    I still own my GOTY edition of F3, and with the news that Xbox is going to have a copy available for download as a bonus on purchases of Fallout 4 on XONE, I'm assuming this means that the work has already been done to make it backward compatible for people
    who own the physical copy. Has anyone heard anything on this?

    What game do you really want that hasn't came out yet?

    Oh yes I would buy Fallout 4 in a heartbeat as long as it was made by Bethesda and not Obsidian. Fallout 3 was amazing, Fallout New Vegas was a bug infested disaster that I eventually traded in even after months of patches. I assume Fallout 4 would runn
    off of the Skyrim game engine. Which would be great.

    When do you think Call of duty modern warfare 2 is going to be made backwards compatible?

    Since black ops 1&2, world at war, Call of duty 2&3 are already backward compatible, the only ones that are missing are Call of duty 4 and modern warfare 2&3.

    So when do you think they are being made backwards compatible? or is it more likely to be remastered?

    I'm assuming that the work has been done, so anytime after Fallout 4 releases, they should put it into a queue for release with the other BC games. Maybe hold it back for a month or so, then slip it in with the others?

    P.S. Look at all of the No GS silvers.

    Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. I understand you're having issues installing DLC for Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition. If you take a look at the list of Available
    Backward Compatible games     you'll notice that it says Fallout 3. That would mean that the base game itself has been made backwards compatible. This does not apply to all DLC's for all backward compatible games. Its odd that only one of the DLC's is giving
    you issues. Was it working previously? Let us know with a reply.
