    Do preview builds delete quick resume points after each update?


    I wonder if quick resume save states persist through system updates. Since we are getting multiple builds a week, it would be annoying if all games lose the current quick resume saves with each update. Has anyone been able to test this yet?

    I am on the Delta ring and had quick resume work on and off, sometimes it works but rather often the game restarts from scratch. I guess it is possible that all saves get cleared during the update to fix potential compatability problems, in that case being an insider would mean a large negative impact on the play experience.

    Games that support quick resume automatically add when you start them. There’s no way to disable quick resume

    I just delete it after I manually quit the game every time.

    Hi your going to delete the quick resume files on Fortnite

    • Click the home button restart the console if needed select my games and apps.
    • Select see all you're going to delete your quick resume file for this game its usually 1.0 GB file.
    • highlight the Fortnite game app do not open it.
    • select manage game and click saved data quick start resume this allow start up past the seasonal starting video.
    • Delete all quick resume files these will be replaced with files that are not corrupted.
    • go back to the home screen and start the game it should reboot to start of season no harm will be done to your inventory.

    Having the same problem, immediately after the game updated I tried to resume S class race and it crashes to the dashboard everytime. Other races seem to be working fine, this also happened right after I downloaded the preview registration for the March
    update so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. I definitely do not want to delete the profile and start over though,any new information on what is causing this?

    There is no need for you to do anything, nor can you. Fan behaviors are changed in firmware updates and such. It would run when you had quick resume titles in memory for example. They’ve altered quick resume so it no longer needs to do that
