    Don't message people that send you vulgar messages, because when they falsely report you, Microsoft will take their side, not you, the person who didn't do anything wrong. And of course you can't report them back even though they gloated after banning
    you, that'd be too much effort for Microsoft. You can't appeal your banning, so clearly Microsoft really doesn't give a damn about its player base, or how they approach bans.

    I did everything in my power to reach Microsoft so they could fix this, but again, I cannot appeal this ban, even though I've never been banned before. So I went to the "message a fellow gamer" tab where other Xbox uses can answer your questions. Do you
    want to know what they told me? They told me to just take the hit, and let the people at Microsoft figure it out. They told me the only thing I could do was report the person back and hope Microsoft will do something. They didn't. I guess them calling me a
    retard wasn't enough for a suspension, but me calling them toxic for sending me that was.

    Thanks Microsoft, you make me feel useless.

    What I do after someone sends me a message, is I just send back reported gg. That essentially shuts them up and I hope that a ban gets sent their way.

    I'm sorry you feel that way.

    However, you can't get falsely reported on Xbox Live. Some infractions can bring about a near instant suspension, some may take several days or weeks to action. There are is no statute of limitations on Live. It may not been this last set of messages that
    got you suspended.

    If someone sends you a message that is offensive, vulgar or insulting, all you need to do is block and report them. There is no need to send back a response. Why argue with someone you don't know and potentially break the CoC that you agree to when you signed
    up?

    I usually contact them here http://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us and they are always able to sort out any issue i have.

    They have a call back feature and a live chat where you can talk to a real person, I'm sure they'll be more than happy to help.
