If you want a pre paid option for Gold you will need to buy it from a retailer that carries it.

I would suggest going to a local convenience store / game store and using that Gift card to purchase an actual Xbox Live Gold

subscription card or a Microsoft currency card. I actually had to do that recently after the holidays with a gift card that I had received.

My gift card isn't working but I have just baught it and it's asking me to use credit cards and it's saying that my xbox live gold is not letting me buy it and is blocking me from buying a month of xbox live gold
