Do not buy Microsoft products ! (My opinion)

Hi

I have been trying to contact Xbox for 6 days now in regards to my faulty Xbox that is not working and is now an expensive bit of plastic just sat there gathering dust . The fact is has to have a warranty repair not even 1 year after having it shows the poor quality workmanship and poor quality control checks in the factory itself Microsoft don’t give a toss aslong as you put money in their pocket that’s all that matters !

In my opinion I would avoid any Microsoft product as they do not have the resources to deal with the consumers that they sell these products to , it’s like messaging China trying to get a refund one of the worse companies out there no customer support website rarely works correctly .

Can’t even report them to trading standards as they have no adress in uk etc.

Avoid at all costs !

Will just keep posting this until my issue is resolved as people need to know what they are dealing with when purchasing these products .

What exactly are you needing a call back for? The warranty repair process does not need to involve the phone. It is all done via the web.

go to the store you bought it from and state consumer rights act, they then have to act on this, there will be a 60 charge for assessment to prove its a manufacturer fault, if it is they then have to repair or replace and refund the assessment fee. if in warranty then go to the store they can deal with microsoft on your behalf.

i deal with soga and cra claims daily and i repair laptops all day and assess them.

I am getting the same issue. I have a controller suffering from thumbstick drift and I cannot get passed the address section. It was the same when I tried buying a controller from design labs.

I am needing a callback because the useless website will not let me past the adress section when going to schedule a repair and it has been like this for the past 7 days now , believe me I have tried !
