Do my 360 saves work when using new Xbox One disc?

Hey all,

Apologies if this is in the wrong section or has been asked, but couldn't find it elsewhere.

Considering the new backwards compatibility I believe not all 360 titles will come over, in particular these games which were launched for both consoles.

I am therefore intending to get some of my games now for the One but am wondering if the old save files (stored to the cloud) will still be carried over, or will I need to play them again?

In particular I am looking at my LEGO games collection and while I wouldn't mind playing them again, I'd like to keep my old save files to be used.

Buying a old white 360 and popping in my hard drive

I brought home a 360 from Pawn Shop. On my old drive, all my saves said corrupted and that drive was bunk af. I couldn't do anything on it.

I moved all the saves to a thumb drive, and logged in on harddrive it came with, and it works!!! I was able to see the Skate 3 character I made, and the amazing skatepark I made.

Unfortunately ME2's save was still corrupted, but, my ME1 wasn't, so I just loaded my ME1 save file into ME2, and everything is like I remember. And then when asked to choose where to save, I clicked cloud, and just played on my Xbox One! As for Fallout 3, I copied a save to the cloud, but it still says corrupted, so I'm gonna go buy FO3 tomorrow and play on the 360 and see if my saves works, if it does, I plan to make a new save and do it on the cloud.

 

Can I transfer all my game saves/data off one account to another?

I've already gone over this thread, and have a general idea how this works but I would like confirmation.

I recently made an account for my younger sister on Xbox Live. She has been using my account up until now. I gave her my old Xbox 360 with my games and saves. She has everything. I use my Xbox live account on the Xbox One, and she uses it to play online
on the Xbox 360. Is there a way for me to transfer save data to her new account?

Example: My sister has been using "ShyHighEmoGuy" to play Minecraft on the Xbox 360. I have been using "ShyHighEmoGuy" to play online on the Xbox One. Can I transfer my sisters saved worlds to her new account (GamerTag)?

The save would only work for the 360 version of the game.

If say you were playing the xbox one version of Tomb Raider then the 360 version save would not work.

There are a couple of remastered games that can use your 360 save,think Borderlands The Handsome Collection & Minecraft both do.
