Go all digital and save yourself some space.

talk to us at the end of this generation when you're having to delete 3 games to squeeze in the latest call of duty or titan fall or destiny add-on...well, we'll probably be too busy to talk, playing it straight out of the box while you're downloading off overcrowded
    servers...

not totally serious, i'm probably gonna go 50/50 on digital and physical and i have little actual interest in cod or titan fall, still on the fence about destiny...

  2. I keep them all in the original cases and keep them good as brand new.

I even have a huge shelf for all my games and movies.

  3. I keep my games in the original case. In fact, for me that original case tends to have some sentimental value that takes me back to when I bought it, where I bought and in a lot of cases the nice marketing artwork on the front and back cover of the case.
Oh, and I even keep the game instruction manual that use to come inside the case before they started coding the game instructions inside the game itself. Original cases...cool stuff. Although, I'm running out of shelf space I think I'll find a way to continue
    to keep those original cases.

I indeed do, which is why space is important for these type of things.

    -

The only games which don't have their own game cases are the old NES, SNES and N64 cartridges because with the boxes they tend to cost much more than without.

    -

Digital games / anime / media just doesn't have any value to me, so physical format all the way!

    -

By the end of this gen I'm guessing most of the games will be 99% as they're already now, but Nintendo's Wii U still respects its value of physical media by using the game disc to play the game without requiring any installation. Mario 3D World loading times
are small to none, same goes for other games.

If you're constantly traveling, I could understand the usage of compact disc cases that can hold your games. If you don't there is no reason to not use the original game case. Brag about your collection and let it show!

@FoomBerry: Well, the thing is that if you don't want to take up so much space in your gaming area or house/apartment, then I could see many good things about the compacted disc holder.

I keep mine on their cases. My collection isn't big enough to brag about it, sadly - games that no longer interest me after being played with no chance of a future play through go to Gamestop. Maybe they can make someone else happy like it did to me.

I use original cases, with the exception of some games that come with an extra steelbook case. Like Halo 4, some stores sold the game along with an extra steelbook.

Do most of you keep your games in the original game case or use something else (a la do you throw away your cases)?

I rented a game once out of a Redbox that looked like someone had kept it in Nacho Cheese. lol

Usually I keep my games in the cases, but since I'm attending college, I put them all in a CD case so I don't have to lug a ton of cases around with me.

sorry, probably wasn't too clear. if the cases were out in the open, as any gamestop i've ever been to has, i would not bother an employee to look through the games that i could probably do faster and more efficiently myself. if i could not find a specific
game that i really wanted, i would of course ask for their help. to bother them earlier is, to me, kind of a jerky thing to do.

'i would never have the employee go through the copies for me or whatever'.

    .

I would quite happily do so if they weren't displaying it for me to do it myself. That is what they're there for.

I use the original game cases. I like having a large library for people to browse through. My games are all scratch free.
