Do most of you keep your games in the original game case or use something else (a la do you ...

I have an accordion case that I keep my games in. The green cases tear the disc if you take them out and put them in enough times. I still have the cases on a shelf though.

Mine and my partners are all still in the cases and are placed in a DVD cupboard in the Lounge room, I tried to put them order but the family mess them up. All the games I am currently playing live in a bedside desk, in the draws beneath my tv, playstation
and Xbox.

 

I keep my discs in a CD wallet and all of their cases on a shelf... in alphabetical order too

 

It disgusts me if my games, movies, cds, or anything comes in anything but the original case. When I actually buy a used game, it's either from Gamefly where the case and insides are guaranteed to be included or I go to Gamestop and make them go through
all the used copies to find me a copy with a mint case and manuals.

 

"make them go through the used copies"? does your gamestop not keep all the cases out on the shelves, with the actual discs behind the counter? i always go through the cases and cherry pick the best case with the manuals and stuff...but i would never have
the employee go through the copies for me or whatever.

Yes, I use the original game case.

 

sorry, probably wasn't too clear. if the cases were out in the open, as any gamestop i've ever been to has, i would not bother an employee to look through the games that i could probably do faster and more efficiently myself. if i could not find a specific
game that i really wanted, i would of course ask for their help. to bother them earlier is, to me, kind of a jerky thing to do.

They have one case out on the shelf, the rest are kept in locked up cabinets behind the counter. If the case is on the shelf is in mint condition and everything is there, I don't bother. More often than not something is messed up on them though.

 

really? huh, my gamestop has all of their used cases out in the open...most everything, i should say, since i have picked up a "new" game off the shelf and they gave me another copy in shrink wrap...still, i've never had a problem sorting through cases looking
for a good one. my standards might also be lower, since you keep mentioning "mint condition"

 

Without the original packaging, A collection is worthless.

 

Usually I keep my games in the cases, but since I'm attending college, I put them all in a CD case so I don't have to lug a ton of cases around with me.

 

I rented a game once out of a Redbox that looked like someone had kept it in Nacho Cheese. lol

 

Keeping games in cases? That is so 7th generation. Go all digital and save yourself some space.
