Do Launch and First Month Xbox One Consoles Deserve a Free Game?

No the Xbox One is still $499 and not getting a 100 price deduction. The Titanfall edition Xbox One will also be $499, it'll just include the game for free. The 399 deal you read was for the UK which is in pounds not dollars.

Free Game! - for those of us who bought a console that didn't include a game!

so we had the XB1 since launch.... we had GWG for 5 months... we got 7 free games... We had EA access for 2 months... what about these new people just buying the console... do they not deserve something better

Xbox Live Gold members will get two free games per month until the Xbox One launches in November, and first up on July 1 is Halo 3 and Assassin's Creed 2. In June, Gold members can snag Fable 3 for free.

I noticed Dufful, You do not have a Xbox One? Are you waiting for a potential price drop?

 

I feel they SHOULD give day one adopters something for their devotion because if they DONT then next console launch i can ALMOST guarantee you it wont be as successful as this one. Who will buy into the next day one knowing there will be sales and price
drops just a few months later. Bad business tactics if they dont...now do i think they WILL? lol this is MS..so no...probably not.

 

I don't think so, this is the curse of being a early adapter.

 

Not a big deal to me. My xbox didn't come with a game at launch, and the xbox 360 didn't either.

 

The Xbox One has had a price drop, but in the UK only. No I don't think you deserve a free game, you were lucky enough to buy the Xbox One at launch.

They could at least gave us Ryse at launch. Oh well they are desperate to get more of these things of the shelf..

That's the price you pay for being a day one or early adopter. The 399 price (like mentioned earlier) was for the UK and that is in pounds not dollars. The sad thing is that price is over $600 US dollars so for whatever reason the xbox one is insanely more
expensive there. They deserved a bigger price cut IMO.

 

Bleh. The cries and pleas from self entitlement really irk me. If you cannot pay it, then don't. If you feel scorned for buying it early while knowing exactly what you are getting, then blame yourself. Nearly everyone else knew there would be some sort of
package deal that would happen with TF (if you did not then, meh. You should have spoken with others who are on the forums).
