Do I own both versions of minecraft?

I've never purchased minecraft on my pc until today. I bought minecraft where it sold both of them together. I read later online that it gives you one of the versions if you already bought the other. But since I have none does this mean I only get bedrock? Or do I have both versions. I'm also confused because if I did buy both versions then why does my Java version of minecraft make me play a demo world?

If you purchased the game that includes both Java and Bedrock Editions, you should have access to those two versions. Please go to your account order history https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ and confirm your game order details if it does include both versions.

If it's the correct version, be sure to sign in the same account you used to purchase the game from your Microsoft Store and Xbox app. Your account should match on both apps.

If you have bought Minecraft before, you’re now getting the other edition for free.

Note: If you still only have a Mojang account and have not yet migrated to a Microsoft account, you will have to migrate to a Microsoft account before you can redeem your new game.

Kimmy I have an account on my dad's phone and Minecraft takes me to the Demo Minecraft. When I have the account on my dad's phone how do I get my account back? Plus it is hard to contact anyone as there is no customer service human only an AI bot.
