Do I need to understand the first two Just Cause games to understand Just Cause 3?

I see that there is no forum yet for Just Cause 3 so I'm posting here. I just bought Just Cause 3 and I haven't played the first two. Do I need to understand what happens in the first two so I can understand Just Cause 3?

Bought Just Cause 3, but did not receive Just Cause 2

First of, my apologies if i'm posting this in the wrong sub-forum.

I have bought Just Cause 3 digitally, just the normal version, and from what i understand, i should have received a code to get Just Cause 2, however, i did not receive anything. Do i have to buy the season pass to be eligible to get Just Cause 2 ?.

I understand I bought the game last night. I just want to make sure after my 10 days. I don't need to come here again for the same problem I'm having with Fallout 4. Can someone please check before hand. Bought Fallout 4 but no Fallout 3 code. Bought Just
Cause 3 but not Just Cause 2.

 

not really just cause 2 only only had about 6 main missions and not much really happened you just had to take down a dictator and I thinkjust cause 1 was the same way as 2
