Do I need to re-buy DLC or arcade games which are on both the XBox One and the XBox 360?

For instance, if I bought Destiny: The Taken King on Xbox 360, do I also need to buy the Taken King DLC for Xbox One if I eventually purchase one and have Destiny?

Also: I have Peggle 2 on the Xbox 360, do I need to buy THAT again for One?

i have two xbox's and me and my brother each have 1 so when i buy a game is it ok to buy a game or dlc on his xbox then put my account on my xbox so we both can play it or do we have to buy each arcade game and dlc per xbox? please help thanks!

Downloadable Content on multiple xbox's if you own 2 or more

I'm asking this for a friend as the xbox forums won't load for him right now but he wanted me to ask if he can re-download his purchased dlc to his other xbox. He has 2 xbox's, one at his mom's and one at his dad's as they are divorced. He wanted to know
if it was ok to download the dlc and arcade games that he purchased with microsoft points on one xbox and then re-download them to his other xbox or would have to buy them twice. He uses the same account on both xbox's and at both houses he can go on xbox
live.

Hi, Whether or not you have to buy the game or dlc again for the Xbox One is all down to each publisher. For the Taked King, you will have to purchase it again on the Xbox One, Same goes for Peggle 2. Other games and dlc can be bought at a discount if
already purchased on 360, where as other games and dlc have been given away for free if purchased on 360. One example of that is the dlc for Pinball FX2, they can be downloaded on the One for free if purchased on 360 first.

Happy Thanks giving! I do see over at the ubisoft forums this same issue, and it seems the DLC for both the xbox 360 and Xbox one have to be purchased separately. It isn't a computability issue, rather with ubi soft and the codes. check here for more information:

Unfortunately, regardless of the game, it would still require an emulation solution (to emulate the 360 Arcade Version) or a direct re-porting of the game to be compatible with Xbox One. On the Xbox One, there is no longer a distinction between the Arcade
games and retail games, they are essentially all looked at the same way by the Xbox and the Live Servers. So, unfortunately, games which were purchased on the Xbox 360 Arcade will not be available in the Xbox One store unless an Xbox One specific version is
released by the developer, or in the event that MS one day develops, for example, a cloud-gaming solution.

You'd need to keep your Xbox 360 in order to play any sort of Xbox 360 content (game discs, games on demand, xbox live arcade titles, etc). Your profile can co-exist on both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One so if you wish to earn some achievements or simply go
play that game you can do so on the Xbox 360 console.

The Xbox One will only play Xbox One game discs, games on demand discs, as well as Xbox LIVE Arcade titles that have been released on the Xbox One.
