    I have EA PGA Tour for my Xbox S and a Core subscription. When I go to the online portion of the game, though, nothing populates. Do I need the EA Play subscription to be able to play other users online?

    Hi,

    Sorry no. It's not backwards compatible and since EA has now ended their agreement with PGA Tour and work moving over to Xbox 'Scarlett', you won't see this or any of the PGA games become BC.

    However, if Golf is your thing, you can play Rory McIlroy PGA Tour on Xbox One, but it will have to be via disc as like I said earlier, EA's PGA license has ended and you can't buy this game as a download anymore.
