    Hi

    So I am confused about this change to Xbox live, its says that free to play games dont need a subscription, so do I need one to to play the following:

    Minecraft, Roblox, Fortnite, Rocket League, Call of duty etc

    Does it mean for example, if you bought Minecraft, do you have to have a live subscription..

    Can someone please just clarify this, and also if i put them on Xbox Game Pass does this include live multiplayer or just free games to play.

    Help With Xbox

    Since you mentioned Xbox, do either of your accounts have an Xbox Live subscription? If playing on an Xbox, you need a subscription to play multiplayer games unless the game is one of the Free to Play games. Minecraft is not Free to Play so you need a subscription to play online on the Xbox.

    i am very curious to know why a free to play game like Fortnite and not only this,need a subcribtion of Live Gold to play online.

    It's insane i thing.That's why they are free-to-play because they are FREE.In other ecosystems you don't need any subcribtion.
