    Hi ya'll, hope someone can help me out.

    I have an Xbox One. We've had this for yearsss.

    2022, I would have problems with it going straight to the troubleshoot page. The usual solution was resetting it with it deleting everything and I'd have to take time to re-download my games. Worked fine for days, might have to do this once every few months, no problem

    My dilemma since December 2022, every time I start up my Xbox, troubleshoot page. Every. Single. Time. I've done everything. I would unplug it, let it sit for a bit, and plug it back in. If I pressed "continue" it would go to a black screen no matter how long I waited. If I pressed "reset" but kept my games/apps, black screen. If I pressed "reset" and delete everything, black screen. I've unplugged it, and pressed the eject and power button at the same time, pressed the connect button with whatever other button at the same time. Nada. Mind you, I haven't played much since May 2022, I got a new monitor this past Christmas so I've been excited to have a working monitor to play with, this is such a bummer.

    I would be able to get out of it fast before, every time would be a different solution but I'd be able to fix it and play and it'll be fine the next day. My power block seems to be fine, it only shows a solid white light, no orange light.

    But now it takes forever to figure out what would work, it would happen every day and right now, currently, nothing is working and I'm getting worried. I'm really considering what to do with it. Sad to think he's just too old.

    I don't know what to do anymore. Debating on getting a Series S at this point because it's exhausting doing this every time. I got a bit hopeful yesterday because after getting it out of the troubleshoot page loop, I was able to turn it off and on 2 times without any problems. Woke up for today, troubleshoot loop again.

    I read somewhere that Microsoft doesn't take in Xbox One Original anymore, and if it does, I don't know if it's worth the money to send it in. If I shouldn't waste my money to send it in and get the Series S. Or if there's a magical solution I haven't tried yet.

    Also, does anyone know why the heck the holiday package for Series S is a bit cheaper than a regular packaged one? I've looked at the specs, it's all the same except for the model number. I read that they're the same, the only difference is the packaging which seems a bit ridiculous that the packaging made it cheaper so I'm a bit skeptical.

    Hi Ronnie!

    I guess what I feared is true, RIP to my Xbox One. Not sure if I want to waste money on an unguaranteed fix so I think I'll have to buy the Series S.

    I understand you need help with your Xbox One problem.

    Just a heads up, you are right about the Xbox One not being in service anymore with Microsoft and there would be no option to have it repaired on the Xbox website.

    With your console problem, it is most likely having a hardware issue already and for that it would need repair. With older models, you can still have it repair with a local technician but not really a guaranteed fix.

    If you are considering in buying Series S, just make sure your games are only digital since this console does not play disc games. Holiday packages are promotions and that is why they are cheaper but just make sure you are buying from the legit source.

    It depends. If the suspension was on your account, it may be appealable, and you can still play on the console. If the suspension was on the console, then truly the only way would be to buy another system. Console suspensions are permanent and not appealable.
