Do i have to Reinstall if i had it on Disc?

I purchased BO3 disc, and i lost it. But i used my friends account as My Home Xbox so i can play it until i find it. It's downloading but at 0%. Do i have to download the whole game again? or can the disc files be there and it's an update?

Please help the game is like 50Gb i dont want to download it all again.

I have had it!

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

I have had it!

This has got me to my breaking point! I have been trying to play Black ops 2 backwards compatible many times but why can't I go online? Keep in mind that I have played it backwards compatible many times before this. I have chatted with many people on your
support team about this issue ane the only answer I get is that theres a "maintenance issue". And clearly THERE IS NOT! The people I spoke to all gave me the same answerso a full refresh of the console, and delete the game short refresh the console and download
it again. After the second one it usually works but then the next day it does the same thing as before! Why I got so frustrated, because it take FOUR HOURS for it to go through this process! Clearly this is not a maintenance issue and no I was not banned.
Please do something about this.

As long as the disc installation is still there on the console, the console should not have to download anything at all, it should just update with licences and you'd be able to play.

Power cycle (support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console) your console and see if that makes a difference.

i have had the game installed since i bought it do i need to clean the disc anyway or uninstall and reinstall?

I have had this issue before as well and after uninstalling the trial then reinstalling with the disc worked.

So with games that were installed by disc, will i still have that data? An is all i have to do is reinstall the disc game?

Have to say I am pretty annoyed, I paid so much money for this console and have had nothing but trouble,...

Tonight I have turned on my XBOX ONE and COD GHOSTS wouldn't load so I was advised to uninstall and reinstall, surprise surprise as is everything with this console since I had it, I keep getting installation stopped your disc may be dirty or damaged, the
disc is fine!

So what do I do now!
