Do I have to rebuy the digital game version for series s

Digital has never been interchangeable.with disk

You could've bought digital in the first place or a disk console

Digital consoles are only digital for a reason

I understand I have to rebuy it but my problem is that I can't possibly resell my disk for to reach that price, so is there a way to sell to Xbox or something to get a reduced price cause if not financially speaking it's better to sell the series S than rebuy all my games at an increased price.

Then why do they offer the series s cheaper than the series x? They should be the same price because I couldn't afford another 100 dollars. While wasting thousands on disc versions. I'm switching to Playstation so I don't waste anymore money. Plus Sonys download speeds blow xbox away.

There's no way around needing to own the games digitally in order to play them on a Series S. So if you own a game on disc, you would have to buy it digitally in order to play it.

The ability to transfer without having to rebuy the game only applies to digital content. Since you have it on disc, you would either need to purchase it digitally it play on a Series S or purchase a Series X to use the disc drive.
