do i have to pay again for gta san andreas?

hi a couple years ago i downloaded the xbox original version of GTA san andreas. i recently had to buy a new console but when i went to look for gta in my download history it wasnt there! i paid 1600 ms points or 20 dollars for it. recently i saw it had
come out again why do i have to pay 15 bucks again for a game i already bought. is there a plan to compensate or something?

Grand Theft Auto San Andres Original Xbox Game Digital Download

I have bought GTA San Andres a while back and i downloaded it and tried to fire it up and it wont play i did all the steps the post at the top of the forums said to do but i still cant play it. Then i got to marketplace to look for my game and it says i
need to pay $15 for it when i already purchased it. I dont know what to do now i want to play that game and i already bought it so why do i have to pay again?

 

Can't find classic San Andreas on my download history

Hello, i used to play GTA San Andreas classic on my XBOX 360. Yesterday formated my HDD and today can't download the game. I can't find it on my download history. I only see the HD edition but i do not want to pay again.

How can i recover the game?

Its an updated version not the Xbox Original you bought years ago.

Did you do a license transfer when changing console?

 

It's entirely possible that Rockstar asked Microsoft to remove the original version of San Andreas as to not confuse customers between the original and the "HD remaster" of the game. Not sure if this removes it from peeps' Download History or not.

 

Is the new San Andreas really as bad as people making out, or does it just have a few niggles?

And by that, I mean nothing that's actually badly broken and prevents you from 100% completion. Not bothered about the deleted tracks. Heard them hundreds of time years back and then again when I bought the game on PS3. All music in every GTA game gets turned
off after so long.

 

@Kanaye - They removed the original from the marketplace, but if you did purchase it previously you can still redownload it from your download history.

Will keep an eye out for it when its going at the deal price again. I think Rockstar do sales every other week for GTA titles
