Do I have to by game pass when I buy the game from steam?

I just bought sea of thieves a few days from steam and I wanted to play for the first time, but.. I stuck in the sign in part. and I can connect with my xbox account and I already reset the store. I mean that I was not even logged in to my account in xbox and I logged in when I wanted to play and then I see the windows of sign in to the xbox live and nothing happened..no error..nothing!!!

and I wander if I should buy anything else to play this game!! I don't know what else should I do.

Glad you found a fix there. If you've got it on Game Pass then keep playing that for now. But if you want to buy it, I suggest Steam.

If you want to own it to keep the Steam version is superior, plus it's easier to back up. While Game Pass is great, the games don't stay on here forever, at least not the third party titles. When they get removed you must buy them to keep playing.

The PC game pass game is exactly the same as the Xbox One version. That version is missing some graphics filtering settings such as the CRT filter, which makes the game look like it's running on one of those old CRT TV's from the 90's complete with 'scan
lines'. I recommend you watch the video.

yes, when i do a speed test, i get my 200 Mbps, maybe PC game Pass is just slow lol.. i have a fiend who is good at computers, builds them and repairs them and stuff, he is the 1 that picked me out this good Lenovo gaming laptop, RTX 4050, he also said he buys most of his games on steam. Do you know much about steam? are games cheaper there to buy? can you use an xbox controller to play steam games? and do steam games have achievements or trophies like PS5 and Series X does? and if they have achievements, can you use the same achievements or trophy guides on youtube for ps or xbox trophy walkthrough guides to get the steam trophies or do they have whole different trophies?
