Do I have to buy mw2 again for my son to play? His profile is linked to my account.

I suppose that you're using Xbox, correct?
If yes, you can game share with him your owned games.

If he owns an Xbox and you have one for yourself you can add your account on his Xbox and set Home Xbox in that console.
Once you do that your son can play your owned games including MWII

I have already done this without success.

Xbox 1

= Son 1 Xbox and set to Home Xbox

= My profile is on here as well as Son 1s profile

Xbox 2

= Son 2 Xbox

= My profile is on here as well as Son 2s profile.

Son 1 plays on xbox 1 on his profile and game says you must log in to the account that downloaded the game.

So he logs into my account....Games work

Son 2 plays on xbox 2 on his profile says you must log in to account that downloaded the game.

Log into my account, games work for son 2, but son 1 Now can't play the games

ok so i have 3 xbox's on my network, mucho dlc and a family account (4 profiles) if I always use my main profile to buy dlc then technically i can play 2 different profiles (say my profile and my son can play his profile) at the same time on 2 seperate xbox's
and use the dlc on both provided I sign my profile in on the xbox that doesn't have the dlc on it and my son uses his account that had the dlc downloaded on it correct? or is this a no go? Basically I want to party up with my son/daughter and play the dlc
(that I bought) on seperate full screen tv's/xbox's..

Your credit card information is linked to his profile on the Xbox enabling your son to buy things at will. Get on the Xbox, sign into his profile and any other profile that might contain your credit card information. Go to settings, account and manage
payment options. In this menu you should be able to remove your credit card information and no one will be able to buy anything unless your credit card info is added again.

I had the same problem with my son and I found out he was logging on to my profile to purchase games and items. So I checked his profile, no debit card info. I had to remove it from my own profile so that he would not overdraft my account anymore.

Okay. I'm a little confused. I got my son a V-Bucks giftcard for Fortnite. As I have an X-Box live account on the console, he simply has another profile and he enjoys that. I do NOT play Fortnite, but he plays it on HIS profile. Do I simply link
the Epicgames account to my Microsoft/Xbox Live account and redeem the code under my profile and he can use the V-Bucks, as he actually does not have an account, just the profile?
