Do I have to buy DLC again that I've purchased on another Xbox 360 console on a new Xbox ...

Recently, I was able to get a newer Xbox 360 for myself. I had previously bought all 4 DLCs for both Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2, one Skyrim DLC, and one add-on DLC map to BOII, on my brother's Xbox. Now, when I go to the store on my new Xbox 360, it
says on the store that I have to pay for it. Again.

I don't understand, I've paid for the DLCs with my money already on my profile, why should I have to pay again? Can someone please help?

Secondary question: Is there a way to safely import the DLCs from that console's Hard Drive, by chance?

Hey there Rushintuit,

You should be able to use this content offline on Xbox 360, though you need to make sure you're using the console on which the DLC was purchased. DLC is tied to the Serial Number of your Xbox 360 console. On Xbox One, it's tied to your Account.

So if for example you purchased DLC on your profile on another Xbox 360 console, you'll need to transfer the DRM rights to the new console.

Account Suspension? Help!

Can I please know why my account was suspended until 12/31/9999? I've purchased many DLC and have recently purchased a new Xbox 360 and I want to move my DLC to my new console. Thanks.

Yes download them from your download history

If you used a season pass you need to download the season pass first

You can transfer if you buy a transfer cable from ms or a authorized dealer

Either way you still need to redownload them

If you want to play offline you need to do a license transfer ehich removes the offline licenses from the old console and gives you the online and offline

On the other console you need to be signed on with the purchasing console once you license transfer

Offline licenses can only be used on one console at a time

We purchased a new XBOX 360 for Christmas, so apparently my Skyrim DLC is not licensed to the new xbox. Is there a way to fix this? I can't see having to pay for it again when I've already bought it once.

Hi, Whether or not you have to buy the game or dlc again for the Xbox One is all down to each publisher. For the Taked King, you will have to purchase it again on the Xbox One, Same goes for Peggle 2. Other games and dlc can be bought at a discount if
already purchased on 360, where as other games and dlc have been given away for free if purchased on 360. One example of that is the dlc for Pinball FX2, they can be downloaded on the One for free if purchased on 360 first.
