Do I get Xbox live rewards points if I already owned the current promotioned games?

Talking about the current promotion "Robo Rewards", I already owned some of the games, Recore and the Automatron dlc for fallout 4.

Am I elegible or do I have to spend more money on the other games?

Microsoft rewards

I looked at the Microsoft rewards on the Xbox and saw that one of the offers was for the purchase of Far Cry 5 and I already owned the game prior to the rewards and I was wondering if there was a way to redeem my Microsoft points.

Never gets rewards

just curious as to what it is you have to do to get the rewards and points since I order stuff online all the time on the Xbox console and I never get any Xbox Live reward points even though purchases I've made are qualified through their programs so do
I not get rewards if ordered through the Xbox console do I have to go online and do it through the website Xbox LIVE Rewards only

An item is only eligible if purchased during the promotional period. If you owned those items before the mission started they would not qualify and you would still have to spend the $59.99USD to meet the minimum requirements.

Unfortunately not, points that are obtained via a promotion (Xbox LIVE Rewards, Bing Rewards, Dashboard promotion, etc) have an expiration date on them. There's no way to get points back that have expired, sorry

For help with the Microsoft Rewards program, you would need to contact their customer
support. However, generally if the purchases were not made during the offer period, they will not be eligible.

Can you elaborate on your issue. Did you buy something in the past that would now offer you rewards points if you were to purchase it today?

As speculated, if you didn't buy the games or consoles (or other item) during the actual promotional period, you won't get the Rewards points. This includes buying them before the promotion existed.

its just a shame the app cant detect what you already own and advertise other things or offer alternatives
