Listen my son just brought a game but it will not download at all he wants his money back so can that happen or not because it charged his card but that's not fair if he can't get his money back we tried everything so can something be done

Do I get my money back for my xbox one since I only bought it over PS4 because of the snap feature.

Now I have to buy a second TV to watch while I play.

You can't take away the features of a product after someone pays for it.

If you bought a car and the dealership came by 6 months later and ripped out your stereo because THEY don't like it in YOUR car, they'd be sued.

I think that's what needs to be done here.

A class action law suit.

You removed a vital piece of the product I paid for.

I will obviously never buy another Xbox or games, and will warn others about the horrific way Xbox treats its customers.

There is literally no precedent of any company anywhere, ever doing anything remotely this insane.

You have to allow somwone the option to not downgrade their system, but you cut off our internet access if we don't.

The Xbox is useless to me now.

How do I get my money back?

Microsoft has a no refund policy for all purchases. You need to monitor your son while he is using your console. There really isn't much for you to do.

I assume that the account he downloaded on was yours and not his own. But if there is a child account, you can make it so that account cannot make purchases:

You could also password protect your account so it will ask for your password every time you sign in:

http://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing-and-subscriptions/account-security/password-protect-account. This will not protect your account if it is already signed in though

Other than that, there isn't anything you can do. Just gotta be more careful next time.

Awesome thanks, that’s helpful. On the website, it already says my request was denied as the person behind the support email didn’t really care to further help. I will try contact them personally/request a callback.
