Do I buy the new 1TB Xbox One ??

To answer your question...

I have a launch console with the smaller hard drive. A larger drive would have been better, but for £40 I've fitted a tiny little USB3 1.5TB drive. I'd rather not have had the external lump hanging out of the back, but it does mean that I can easily take
my games round to a friends house and not have to wait for a huge download. So the external drive option has pros and cons.

So you could spread the cost, save money and have double the storage.

Just an idea.

 

Buy it you will be poor but happy. (you could probably suck some vitamins out of the paper game insert if really desperate) And when life finally slips from your poor emaciated frame at least the death rictus will reveal your dyeing smile and the Gods of
MS will return the smile and welcome you..

To what people have been saying, I understand that essentials come before console gaming e.g. Food, bills, etc. But initially I just needed to know if the 1TB Xbox One Console was worth the money for what you get or is it just better to get a normal Xbox
One ??? (Also Since the original post I do have some extra cash for some games just not many haha!!)

P.S. My £400 was earned through bloody hardwork at a local construction site, whenever they needed someone to clean the site up (sweeping and moving deliveries) they give me a call and I go and earn a £5 an hour, it's not a job because it's like earning
money for doing choirs round the house, especially as my Uncle is the construction site manager haha!! It's not a job I want for the rest of my life and I want to clarify I'm not a benefit scrounger!!! Haha!!

The 1TB isn't bad value but you could get the standard Xbox One with a 500gb hard drive plus the new Call of Duty plus another game ( I see some sites throwing in either FIFA 15 or Forza Horizon 2 ) and it's around £80 cheaper ( from the quick look I've
had ) than the 1TB hard drive with just Call of Duty.

Also if you do need extra hard drive space at a later date there's always the option to buy an external hard drive.

Anyway, whichever one you decide on in the end, feel free to add us on Xbox LIVE and maybe we can have a game or two.

There's nothing wrong with claiming benefit so long as you view it as a means to get you into a better situation. Definitely not something to put towards the xbox fund. By the sounds of things though it's not as if you're a late twenty-something/early thirties

Volunteering is great for the soul as well. Doesn't pay for xboxes though.

I would wait to buy a new console, its not going anywhere, even if they do sell out from game, someone will end up putting it on Gumtree or ebay at some point.

Plus the Warfare console at the end of the day is just marketing from Microsoft to get your money off you, there is nothing special to that console, yes it looks different and has a 1TB hard drive, but even 1TB isn't a lot with how much memory these games
take up, don't get pulled into the sale gimmicks. I like the white xbox one with sunset overdrive, its done in a limited run too, so they say, that's £349.99 and then you could buy an external hard drive at a later date. Another point to make is, I wonder

I had a recent windfall of money and just thought you should all know, I bit the bullet and bought the white Xbox One Console from my local GAME store, I did this because it came with 3 games and it was £30 cheaper than the 1TB COD Advanced Warfare Console.
