    Do Hori Xbox one arcade sticks work on Series XS?


    I’m looking into buying the expensive Hori tekken7 arcade stick for my xbox series S but wanted to know if it actually works since it’s a xboxone peripheral.

    Will it work if I just plug the USB controller cord in my new console?

    Hi there,

    Whether or not arcade sticks are compatible for the Xbox One is mainly up to the manufacturers to produce arcade sticks that meet the requirements for the Xbox One console and not the other way around. There are plenty of Microsoft licensed arcade sticks
    out there from Razer or Hori you can check out.

    The only other way you can potentially get around the problem is by using an Xbox Adaptive Controller and using it to plug in other external devices to then use on Xbox One.

    Hi Emmmmrich,

    I found some info on the configuration of that particular controller.

    The right side of the stick also houses a switch that lets you swap between Xbox One and Xbox 360 modes. Another nearby toggle lets you set the joystick to act as a D-pad, left analog stick, or right
    analog stick, which can come in quite handy depending on the game you're playing. Pressing the Xbox button allows you to remotely wake up an Xbox One that's in Sleep mode. Unlike Hori's Real Arcade Pro 4 for PlayStation 4 and the Qanba Q4 RAF, the Kai lacks
    a turbo button.
