Do games that leave Xbox Game Pass ever come back?

Note that if you find the game on sale or purchase it on disc, your save files will still work and you can continue where you left off when you played via Game Pass.

There have been a couple that have returned in the past, but there's no way to know for sure if/when a certain game will come back.

gamepass is like netflix, they add new content and some content leaves, it is entirely up to the devs usually on how long it stays on gamepass.

They have sections that tell you whats leaving and when and whats coming in and when.

Some games have left and then returned, but there's no way to know if that would be the case for any particular games.

It is stated quite often that Game Pass games are not permanent on the Game Pass roster and can be taken off and re-added at any point. The app usually tells you what is coming and leaving Game Pass which can be helpful.

I dont generally buy DLC for game pass games unless I plan to finish the game and the DLC in the near future. They also usually offer the Game Pass games on offer to buy if you own game pass.

It is a shame to hear you cannot play your game without either purchasing it or waiting for it to be added back into the Game Pass library (if it ever does)
