    I got gamepass about a month ago and with it I started the yakuza series which is soon to be removed off gamepass on 1/1/22, however I know that once you install a game from gamepass you are then given a discount on that said game once its announced to be removed from the service, now the question I have is whether or not I can carry these games I buy on gamepass over to another device? Like currently I have all my purchased gamepass games on 1 device if I install the Xbox app on another device like a new pc will I be able to download the games I've bought or are the game only for the device you bought them for? I'd really like to know before getting a new pc.

    It doesn't matter if you install the game or not, the discount is still available up until it is removed from the service.

    If you have the game on one PC and you want to log in on another PC, yes you can install the games to the other PC at no extra charge to you. The games are attached to your account, not the hardware you play them on.

    What do you mean when you say the game doesn't transfer? Are you trying to move the game from one storage device to another?

    Certain games are cross saved enabled, which means you can transfer the saved games from one device to another. Play anywhere is you can play the digital version of the game on any of the 2 devices. Some won't be able to transfer the saved games over.

    Can I transfer all my game saves/data off one account to another?

    To transfer the content over you first sign in with the new profile.

    Go to Storage -> Hard drive(or whatever storage device you use). Select the save you want to transfer over then select Move. When asked where to move to just select the same storage device again and then item will be moved from the old profile to the new
    one.

    There is a problem with this that it apparently will no longer be possible to earn achievements on saves that are moved from one profile to another.
