DNS server error, I tried pretty much anything I could think off, except contacting you lot.

I've the Xbox 360 slim console, I use cable internet for a provider named KDS. I have it connected to a router and use the Xbox's WiFi to connect to the network.

I live in Serbia.

The modem is from cisco... uhm, I couldn't find the model number because... China. Maybe 1500-03yp000. But probably not.

I have the D-link DIR-600 router

I haven't the slightest clue what UPnP is, but I've tried both ways I think.

I've no NAT error

The console simply says that it couldn't resolve DNS server names. (Don't even bother telling me to try turning it off and back on again. I tried it countless times by now.)

Getting pretty tired of restarting and stuff. I've like a dozen other wireless devices that work perfectly fine with the router.

I suppose it's also worth mentioning that the console can connect to my computer with no problem whatsoever. Just not the internet. Via wired and wireless methods. Even tried hooking it up to the modem directly. No luck. And don't try that "probably just not

Disconnecting from live after or during game loading

Next I would suggest you reset your network settings to factory default

soloution 1 if you havnt tried that yet.

If that hasnt made a difference and youve cleared your cache then next thing I would do is reinstall the dashboard

you would be best backing up any content you want off the xbox first.

If this fails then I would be contacting technical support

 

Xbox DNS error

my xbox giving me error and not connecting to online..

Error: "you DNS server can't resove Xbox live server names."

I've tried different DNS servers from my ISP by putting manually and also tried google DNS but error still sustain.

any advice would be highly appreciated.

I tried it all again, but as I said before, That didn't help at all. DNS errors at every attempt, and trust me there were plenty of those. But what bugs me is the fact that it can connect to my computer without a problem. But not to the internet.

Yes, in fact, I have about 4 devices that connect to the internet no problem. Only the xbox can't.

 

I've tried port forwarding just now again, I've used all the correct ports, but I'm not sure if it worked.

 

I've just tried UPnP both ways, not working. This is very annoying. I've been trying to connect since January. If anyone knows anything that could help, it would be very use full.
