Discus and support DNS Names? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have been receiving the "DNS Can't Resolve Server Names" Network error for about five days now.     DNS Names?


    I have been receiving the "DNS Can't Resolve Server Names" Network error for about five days now. If anyone can help, please do. I've tried all of the "support" suggestions and I'm open to any ideas now. Please help. Any information or suggestions are very
    welcome.

    how to speed up your download speed on your xbox one

    I thought this would be gone by now.

    1. Changing your DNS can improve your download speed but it is not simply because you changed DNS. What happens is if your ISP DNS is bad it can resolve you to node that is not well suited for what you are trying to do. If your ISP DNS is not good this can improve your download speeds.
    2. As it is more likely you hit the Xbox live download cap vs Dns issues. Depending on load the Xbox live server can limit your download speed.
    3. As Indie stated there is a chance that you had ERA's(exclusive resource apps) running and that will limit your download speed.
    4. Changing your DNS to google or Open DNS opens you up to information collection by google for selling to ad companies. At 1 point Cloud fare was offering free dns with a privacy policy.

    Hi richardclayton2,

    What brand of repeater are you using and what do you have set for the current configuration mode on it? No need to provide specific ip or ssid names for your safety.

    It sounds like when you set up your network connection you may have incorrectly set up the DNS. So we can get you on the right path of clearing this up, please check our

    Xbox One Network Troubleshooter     and give all the steps for your particular error a try. Please let us know how it goes :)

    Hello Mister Cerb.:

    At the end the problem is DNS, apparently in Spain I can reach the names/dns of xbox.live for differents way/path, the problem is that some main routers around the world dont know the names updates by xbox.live.

    How I can resolve this situation I set manually two DNS server:

    first: UK Public DNS

    Second: New York Public DNS

    After to do this situation I resolve my problem.
