    why do my post keep going into "xbox preview"?

    im having issues with connecting devices via dnla/throw, youtube works flawlessly, yet when i want to throw the xbox one does not show up as a device. I have tried turning on and off "play to" numerous times, restarting my wireless connection, rebooting
    the router, turning, my tab on and off to no avail.

    But then i discovered a post about changing the xbox one name in "settings, system, console info & updates, xbox name"

    Remarkably after changing the xbox name, the xbox became discoverable and i was able to stream/throw flawlessly. Unfortunately, every time i shut the xbox down the same issue arrives, and i have to do the same fix.

    Does anyone know a way to stop this happening and make the dnla support actually work as it is supposed to?

    Xbox One Bluray Lip Sync Issue

    Lip sync issue here too. Not from Bluray but from DNLA streaming movies.

    Xbox one £289 or £334 with Kinect.

    @Don - you can use it for full DNLA streaming now, will play MKV as well so TVersity isn't really needed.

    Maybe when external drive support is added down the road....and maybe, depending on the format? But may only be allowed to dnla stream them?

    It may be the DNLA update if so download the media player and you can stream movie, pics, and music from your PC or a USB!!

    Does Xbox One Play MKV Video Files?

    it does via DNLA and the use of a server such as PS3 Media Server and a UPNP Controller such as Bubble UPNP on android / IOS.

    HOWEVER- I have not gotten MKV's with subtitles to play at all.

    I should also point out that streaming over DNLA isn't that great especially when transcoding (using the method above). It's a bit laggy. Though I've tested Plex, Serviio and a few other controllers, and the config I mentioned above is the best way to go
    about it.
