DMRs?

    Just started playing around with the DMRs, just wondering if any of you guys use them and if so how? What role do you play with them?

    I only really use it with my assault class when Operation Locker or Metro come around. Since I focus mostly on revives and heals I only like to mess around with DMR's then and normally with IRNV's or FLIR's.

    Playing as an Engineer, I use DMR's as a substitute for sniper rifles. Their power is good enough for close up and the shoot with pinpoint accuracy from a distance. The DMR is my weapon of choice for most scenarios... shotgun is better for close-quarters
    and sniper is only marginally better at distance.

    DMRs?

    DMRs are a bit over powered in BF4 but are really fun to play with. They are meant to be mid-range weapons but depending the mods you use you can actually use them to snipe fairly effectively. Additionally, some of the DMRs can be very potent up close and
    unscoped for those situations where you bump into an enemy coming around a corner. The SKS comes to mind as its a perfect mid-range weapon, has longer range mods for some moderate sniping, and can be fired incredibly fast unscoped for those close encounters.

    As for kits to use, I typically use with the Engineer class or Support Class. As an Engineer with DMRs you can take on both vehicles and infantry with ease. And as a Support with DMRs you can throw in unlimited ammo and explosives like C4.

    I remember when it was nothing but DMR, DMR followed by some more DMR... ah those were the days.

    Ah yes, your so excellent with the DMR that you have:

    0.78 k/d ratio with DMR in competitive matchmaking

    0.6 k/d ratio with DMR in Invasion

    0.57 k/d ratio with DMR in Arena

    Personally, i don't think your stats reflect your excellence.

    I have:

    2.97 k/d ratio with DMR in competitive

    8.41 k/d ratio with DMR in Invasion

    1.59 k/d ratio with DMR in Arena

    I don't even play Halo: Reach much and don't consider myself a great player, but the stats would imply i am better at using the DMR than you.

    DMR Confirmed

    I love the DMR but since Reach was destroyed following the story it should not be in H4 because it was blown up with the rest of the planet. Now if they name it DMR 2 or DMR MArk 5 or something like that it would make sense because it will then be a updated
    version of the original DMR.

    I have nothing against this, but I hope that they keep the DMR weaker and straight outgunned by the BR, and the DMR occupies a longer range, where the BR's spread means it might be able to pop a DMR out of scope, but it would be lucky, and could almost definitely
    not defeat a DMR at that range.

    Basically, as long as the BR is the main weapon and the DMR is there for backup/preference/so on I have nothing against it.
