DMR or BR?

    DMR or BR?


    Hello, my name is GAMER. I was just posting this to see who likes the BR or DMR after having played the MP Beta.

    After hundreds upon hundreds of games of Swat on Reach, the DMR is my favorite. Even on Slayer, just meeting your foe and everything's on point. When the bullets start flying and your dodging left, right, and upwards, and every
    round you push is hitting them on the button and you see "Perfect Kill" across your screen. Man, can't beat that feeling.

    DMR or BR

    i use the DMR most of the time, but for Solace and smaller maps i go BR

    I want to use the BR more for some reason, but i do believe the DMR is the overall better gun

    DMR or BR?

    R.I.P. BR from the Halo 2 demo. I was extremely disappointed in what the BR became.

    I like the BR more, but the DMR just shreds on longer maps. I actually got a perfection during the Halo 5 beta using the DMR/Sniper.

    That's awesome man, and yes it does. The BR lately, I'm beginning to really warm up to in Slayer matches. We should play sometime.

    I'm all about single-shot semi-autos and thus the DMR is my kind of weapon. Better Accuracy/Precision, Better Control, and Better Impact.

    As for the BR, thought it may seem like a great weapon, but I find it extremely useless on open-field maps. And this is a guy who's the sniper.

    I know what you mean man, even in close quarters I prefer the DMR to even the Ar. And as for impact I like how it kinda feels like you feel the round hitting your target.

    BR

    IMO its the Jack of all trades but master at none. Its a really balanced weapon and is an all purpose weapon too. Its competent at all ranges but DMR whoops it at long range.

    DMR

    best for big open maps with long site lines like valhalla. Its master at long range but up close its almost incompetent. In Reach DMR grew on me but the whole time i was wishing there was a BR.

    I haven't had the chance to play the MP beta as I haven't got an Xbox one (yet . . . I am waiting for the halo 5 Xbox one) but it's good to read posts like this so I can get a better idea as to how a weapon as been balanced.

    I hate them both. too annoying when some coward shoots your *** off from halfway across the map with aim botting.

    BR vs. DMR

    BR > DMR at Mid Ranges.

    DMR > BR at long ranges.

    DMR won't win against BR in mid/short range battles. One miss from the DMR and the BR will take victory, it's easier to aim with a BR at closer ranges. Majority of my challenges the BR won in those ranges but had no chance against DMR in long range.

    I have nothing against this, but I hope that they keep the DMR weaker and straight outgunned by the BR, and the DMR occupies a longer range, where the BR's spread means it might be able to pop a DMR out of scope, but it would be lucky, and could almost definitely
    not defeat a DMR at that range.

    .

    Basically, as long as the BR is the main weapon and the DMR is there for backup/preference/so on I have nothing against it.

    In a battle where both people are exactly at the same skill level, yes, the BR would win up close and personal. But I've already won quite a few close range battles against the BR with my DMR. I got 2 or 3 triple kills last night with nothing but the DMR.

    That depends on the range, BR will beat DMR at Close/Medium range. No judge of opinions, it will certainly win.
