    DLNA Issues


    I've been trying to set a custom background via DLNA media server. I can view the image on my xbox one from my phone. My issue however is when I press menu, it doesn't show the "Set as Background" option. I've met all prerequisites including jpg or png,
    and under 3MB.

    Any ideas what the issue is?

    Have Xbox One Select Highest Quality Audio track in a movie.

    Doesn't matter whether USB or DLNA 2nd higher quality audio track needs to be manually selected.

    I have no issues playing back the files.

    Hey GunGraved -

    Let's have you try
    uninstalling     the media player,
    power cycling     your Xbox One console, then reinstalling the app. Hopefully that helps and you're able to then load up your custom background image.

    Let's have you try
    uninstalling     the media player,
    power cycling     your Xbox One console, then reinstalling the app. Hopefully that helps and you're able to then load up your custom background image.

    i am running a nas with dlna host on my local network, has anyone else ran into an issue with the movies and tv app on the xbox not able to view more than 200 directories on a dlna server? is there a way around this? i uninstalled the app and reinstalled

    You can always use dlna

    Usually any app has sharing options miracast dlna mediacenter etc

    Dlna is most likely the easiest option mediacenter only if you use a pc
