  3. XBox one And Nas drives

Hi All, I have put in a request for adding DLNA Client support with Microsoft support. It works on a voting system to give priority. Please follow the link and use your votes to raise the priority status to get the Xbox One doing what it should of out
    of the box. Thanks!

    DLNA Client for Xbox One

DLNA is very much needed. Support for TV is great, but for those of us that don't subscribe to cable services, being able to stream from a NAS or PC/Mac would be great. This really should have been added from the get-go.

Yes, to be honest this was the FIRST thing I was looking for when I powered on my box for the first time. I was excited because the Xbox One is equipped with a gigabit ethernet port unlike the 360 which would make for MUCH faster local streaming....but no
    DLNA client :-(

I agree completely, I was extremely upset when I learned there was no WMC function like there was on the xbox 360. I would have seriously considered not getting the xbox one had I known that. The option now is that I have to buy an HTPC to put next to
my xbox one, so much for it being the only box you need...lame.

  7. Yeah It would be good to not have to swith back and forth between both my systems. Some people sold their 360s to get this though and are sorely dissapointed in the loss of this feature and others like mp3 player support for ipods etc.Being able to play your
own music library while playing a game was a huge thing for me.If the Xbox One truly wants to be the centre of your entertainment space these thing must be incorporated.

    DLNA Client for Xbox One

I also really hope it comes, PlayTo is not a solution. We need a full client. For me it's the only thing missing right now.

Can people make apps for the ONE, would someone be able to resale a 3rd party DLNA client? I'd even pay for it.

This is the thing I miss the most. The games are fine, but why you can't access the other parts of your windows network on a MS console is beyond me. Especially since this was one of the selling points early on.

Is there an ETA on when this will be included?

Oh - and also - support for USB storage shouldn't be too hard to make either.

  10. I agree, I really miss this option. Games are nice but I have alot of data stored on my server that I access via my console (360) now I have to shut done the xbox one and use my 360. Come on this console is supposed to be better and more powerful and yet
we miss this simple little option.

    DLNA Client for Xbox One

Same here. Sharing media through a full DLNA cliente would be great.

    Let's keep this topic growing!

  14. I now have to turn my music up in the other room because I can't stream music to my Xbox One. Come on Microsoft, this is a great feature on the 360 sadly lacking on the next gen console DLNA Client for Xbox One :(

My WDTV Live streamer is begging for retirement while the £430 all-in-one entertainment device is sitting there, saying "sorry, I can't stream content from your NAS Device."
