    DLCs on multiple gamertags.


    If I buy a DLC or game add on, on my gamertag, will it carry across to all gamertags on the console? Say I buy a DLC for Star Wars: Battlefront, will the DLC be available on my account or on all accounts on the console? Any responses are appreciated.

    Skyrim DLC?

    I am wanting to purchase two of the DLCs for Skyrim, but they are nowhere to be found on the marketplace. I have checked multiple places and can not find the DLCs.

    DLCs and Season Passes on multiple accounts

    If your tag is set as Home on the console then the game and DLC will be shared on that console. The same goes for the Gold membership.

    @ccotto87: You are absolutely wrong on this. Each piece of DLC is licensed to the console and to the gamertag. The console license allows all gamertags on that console to play the DLC. The gamertag license allows the content to be played by that gamertag
    on any other console as long as it is signed into XBox Live and ownership can be verified. The one major exception to this is avatar content as this is only licensed to the gamertag and cannot be shared across multiple gamertags.

    If you are having trouble accessing content from multiple gamertags on a single console, you have probably changed consoles (possibly gotten a repair) and need to perform a license migration (www.xbox.com/drm) in order to allow other gamertags to access
    the content or play DLC offline.

    I have him in there as being age 21, so that isn't a problem. All chat is disabled for him. He will just have to live without the DLC. Is it only BF that is like this or does that go for all xbox DLC?

    I'm afraid battlefield DLC goes by gamer tag not Xbox you will have to buy the DLC in his Xbox account also I hope your son Is over 14 as ea server have an age restriction in place anyone under the of 14 will not be able to play multiplayer

    Yes, it's fine to download DLC (free or paid, regardless) on multiple Xbox 360's. The content is always attached to the gamertag it was purchased/downloaded on.
