    So, I bought the controller for Gears 5 and it comes with a in game skin. I redeem the code for the skin, go in game but nothing. I have Gears 5 on steam, so maybe that's the problem? But there was nowhere to redeem any codes in the game and googling it
    told me to just redeem the code on the xbox store. So, I did. And nothing. Tried re-entering the code but it says the code is already used which didn't happen the first time I used it. I tried restarting my game but still nothing.

    achievement grinding w/ no DLC

    You can not get dlc achievements without the dlc.

    The stock piled achievement cannot be got with the dlc because the dlc adds levels to forification.

    Borderlands DLC disc won't read.

    If you own the physical disc with the DLC's, the DLC's are not added to your account's purchase history.

    "Borderlands: For all editions, DLC comes included on Xbox One. For the Game of the Year edition, accessing DLC doesn’t require you to insert the DLC disc on Xbox One. Only your purchased DLC, however, will be usable on Xbox 360."

    Update. The game will not load on my series X with any dlc installed. Only the base game.

    It will load with dlc installed on the new profile. But I don't have access to the dlc since that profile doesn't own the dlc.

    It will load on the Xbox one with dlc.

    One of the free DLCs has a patch in it that allows people with differing DLCs to play together. I have all the DLCs, and I've had a friend without them come to DLC areas in my world, even though they didn't have those DLC.
