DLC transfers

I have 2 XBoxes.

1 Connects to XBox live.

1 Won't something is broken don't ask what because, I don't know.

I want to be able to just bring my Hard drive along when I travel to &, from (roughly 300 miles 1 way 2x a week).

My licences won't transfer from one xbox to another. How do I fix this?

Please don't point me at Digital Rights Management | Xbox 360 because, I've already looked through that thoroughly.

Unfortunately , the only DLC I believe transfers is the season pass.

You can't. DLC only transfers over if it is by way of the Season Pass.

 

The only way to be able to transfer the licenses or use the content on your second xbox is to be able to connect it to Live. If you can't connect it then there is no way to fix it.

 

I'm sure there is a way to find out what my broken xbox's system ID / license number is.

Open up my good XBox change the system ID to that number.

Than go through all of the license redownloading needed.

That way I get my downloads &, XBox knows I'm not going to give it out like a 17 year old prom date.

Sure sounds like a win to me.

 

Except opening up your console is a violation of the terms of service and can get you banned.

 

This is a special circumstance &, I'm sure if an XBox official gave me the thumbs up to do it than there wouldn't be a problem. After all I did buy both machines &, the DLC.

Don't think I don't appreciate the help &, the feedback. If I'm coming off a bit stand offish I don't mean to be this just has me a bit ticked off.

 

There are no special circumstances when it comes to opening a console,It can only be done at an official repair center.

 

Once again, not trying to sound like I don't appreciate your help but, the system works fine &, financially it makes no sense to fix the internet on the thing.

I have bought the xboxs, I have bought the content, I don't see what the issue is in using the content on both xboxes is.

You could try connecting your Xbox console up to Xbox Live through Earthnet cable. This would plug in at the back of the Xbox 360. Then, if the other console is connected with a wireless adapter, you will be able to preform a Licence Transfer from one Xbox
to another.

On my new xbox I've redeemed my old account but I've changed the gamertag, I'm wanting to transfer games ext from my old xbox to the new one but the data is owned by my old gamertag can I still transfer from the old gamertag to my new one ??
