    DLC transfer backwards compatible


    recently call of duty black ops 2 has been released for backwards compatibility and I played the game originally on Xbox 360. I downloaded the game on my Xbox one but it says I have no DLC. But I know I have the DLC because I can see that I have the map
    packs installed in my Xbox 360 storage. I have been looking all over for a fix so anything would help! Thanks

    DLC transfer

    I just updated Black Ops 2 on my xbox one so it can be backwards compatible, I wanted to know if there was a way to transfer my DLC from xbox 360 to xbox one.

    unfortunately you can't transfer saves for non backward compatible games

    DLC transfer backwards compatible

    If the content was originally purchased on your account and not shared from another then you should have access to it. Please try highlighting the game from the Xbox One dashboard and press the start button on the controller. From there choose Manage Game
    then go to Ready to Install to see if the content is available to you.

    Hey there RedDawn! If you're not seeing the DLC listed under the game's "Ready to Install" that would indicate that the content may have been purchased using a different Xbox Live account. Do you have any other Xbox Live profiles on your Xbox 360 that may
    have purchased the DLC for the game?

    Why doesn't the maps transfer from 360 to One?

    The DLC content is transferable as long as the game is backwards compatible. Sadly, since ghosts isn't yet backwards compatible the DLC isn't either :/ I agree there should be some sort of exception with DLC

    Hi, thanks for replying. Yes the DLCs are backwards compatible. Unfortunately Xbox Support themselves have told me that although I do own the DLCs, they cannot be transferred and I have to repurchase them.

    The only content that would transfer from the Xbox 360 console to the Xbox One console would be content that is backwards compatible.

    Yes. If the DLC is available in the game it should transfer over to the backwards compatible titles. It may take up to a day or two to appear in the Game's Ready to Install section
