DLC only working on one account

So my gf has bought some DLC for advanced warfare, on previous cod's dlc has been purchased on one account but worked on both. however this dlc is only working on her account not on both. i have tried licence transfer just incase something maybe glitched
out or whatever, ive tried changing console settings i thought may help, but nothing at all. is this intentional or can it be fixed?

okay, so I understand the whole thing working as follows:

the gamertag or account that buys the DLC, anyone on their home console can use that DLC with their GT. (same with games)

on the second Xbox One, only the gamertag that purchased the DLC will be able to use the DLC (or games).

Does that make sense?

 

Different users can't access certain DLC

We currently have 3 XBL accounts on our Xbox. One of them downloaded three separate DLC packs for Callof Duty: Black Ops. Only the account that downloaded it can use it, otherwise it prompts the other two accounts to purchase them. This is the only case
of DLC not working. Our old Xbox got the "red ring of death" so we had to purchase a new Slim console, but we transferred all data from the old hard drive to the new one just fine, including the three DLC packs. Only those three don't work. Does anyone else
have this problem? Help?

 

Are you talking about the guns or the maps?

All maps are usable on all profiles as long as it is the purchasing console

However guns and skins etc is only available to the first account

This has always been with activision and since its the first game by sledgehammer games by themselves I don't know what are you talking about

Sledgehammer games previous game MW 3 was a coop effort with infinity ward and Activision having final say they weren't the main developer

 

it was the micro dlc as the map packs arent released yet.on ghosts we could buy any dlc be it custom items, camos, or maps, on 1 account and use them on both. the day zero dlc only works on one account, and the micro dlc only works on one account. tbh with
this until im informed it is fixed i will not be risking the map packs only being useable on one account. expecting people that use the same console to purchase items twice is absolutely pathetic.

 

Hi guys, I have the same problem and this from another thread.

MS customer service employee replied to a xbox user. Map packs have always been able to share (including Atlas Gorge/Freefall from Ghosts) Generally though mDLC is not sharable. However, in BO2, microDLC packs were sharable. This leads to a lot of confusion.


Yes thank you and i would too agree with you xbox user, I too can share standard $2.75 weapon camouflage on black opps/ghost but CAN'T on Advanced warfare, are you kidding me, three dollars and I CANT share with one more account on the same xbox? is that

Guns ingame items have always been mostly profile specific

Seasons passes have always been like that this isn't the only game that does it

On occasion you may find a game like blackops that's the rule if thumb you should follow

Don't expect it

Remember you are saving money on guns and maps usually about 15 bucks vs buying them separately just for the maps not counting the guns

If you buy the guns separately there maybe a chance it is usable please read the description before hand

 

What you are saying is fine if not for one very big problem. When you go to a different profile to get the same micro DLC you can not even buy it because it says it's already downloaded. I even tried uninstalling it from the main profile and then reinstall
on a different profile and it still reverts back to the original. Really stupid only 1 person per console can have any one micro DLC.

 

No that's not how it works

The account without the content or season pass must make their own purchasepurchase of the said content

If you make the purchase it won't work as you have the dlc and season pass on file

 

This doesn't make sense, still with Call of Duty Advanced warfare. If you read Xbox Store game add-on restrictions limits of use when purchasing anything like the following, Season Pass, Premium Personalization Packs, Standard Packs weapon camouflage etc..
It says (YOU CAN USE THIS ITEM ON THE FIRST XBOX 360 CONSOLE YOU DOWNLOADED IT TO. ACCESS TO THIS ITEM WILL BE GRANTED TO "ALL USERS" ON THIS FIRST XBOX CONSOLE...BLAH BLAH BLAH ETC..)

So when I use my main Profile Account to purchase a standard pack weapon camouflage, it CAN'T be used on the second account on the same xbox!!!

I have no problems with call of duty black ops 2 and call of duty Ghost.

 

Yea this sucks because I actually purchased all of them (idk why but I like having all of them) so hopefully they fix this problem

 

I purchased an exo-suit dlc under my profile on the xbox one and when my son logs into his profile on the same xbox one it shows that the exo-suit has been purchased but he can not equip it says thats its available in the games and apps section. Of course
looking in games and apps shows nothing, it works fine on my profile but not his. Please help do not want to have to purchase the same DLC again just for his profile!

 

I had the same problem, with the champion personalization pack, and it just says on my account that I already have it and to go to games and apps to get it but there is nothing there, it would be fine if I could just rebuy this one because it was only 4
bucks, but I also purchased the havoc dlcc on another account and can not use the guns but can use the zombies and the 4 maps. and I don't want to pay 15$ just to get 2 guns, but I can't even do that because it says I already have it! I think this needs to
be fixed so that everyone can share all dlcs like it was with black ops II.

 

Also I purchased this doc on my main account with the thoughts it would be shareable and it isn't so I want the $19 I spent on dlcs back! This isn't fare that for every account on the same Xbox one has to buy it again, but even that with some cases it won't
even let you buy it again, again this is very annoying and I want my $19 back!
