DLC on One Console

So I recently downloaded the Nuka-World DLC on Fallout 4 on the Xbox One. So I have multiple accounts on that console and I wanted to know if I can play that DLC on each of them and not have to redownload it onto every account?

So if you buy DLC on console # 1, it will be on that console. Anyone on that console now or in the future will be able to use that DLC.

Then, if you want that DLC on console # 2, you can redownload it, and it will now be on both of your consoles.

BUT, only you can use the DLC on console # 2. No one else. They (your son) will have to use the DLC on console # 1.

If you do a licence transfer, it will reverse it. So that everyone can use the DLC on console # 2, but only you can use it on console # 1.

Cannot found DLC of Dirt showdown on xbox one "my adds and games" by Backward compatibity,although had download it from xbox.com

I had download Dirt showdown and DLC from xbox.com and i had the licence of the game and DLC，i can found the game Dirt showdown on xbox one consoel,but i cannot found the DLC i had download every where,whether the DLC of Dirt showdown could been use on
xbox one console by backward compatibity?

The answer is YES and NO depends.

If is on the same console you just need to download once for everybody.

If the account that purchased the content have designed this console as his Home Console then everybody on that console can Access the content no more questions asked. If not then that account needs to remain signed on to mantain the Access while the other
players do their game.

If your friend comes over and downloads DLC to your console before he downloads it to any other console, your console gets the console license for the DLC. You're able to use the DLC on your console.

This is not against the rules, as long as your friend is the one who logs into Live and does the downloading.

Most DLC has two licenses, one for the profile and one for the console. The big exception being Avatar items which can only be used on the account which bought them.

The first license lets you use the DLC on any console providing you are signed into LIVE. The second lets any account use the DLC on the first console it was downloaded to.

Here's a silly question but one that could have a bearing on your problem: is this console the ORIGINAL console that you downloaded the DLC on or is it another console that you have downloaded the DLC on using your Gold account?
