    Alright, so I’ve been asking everywhere but if I buy a DLC on a friends Xbox but I buy it with my account will I be able to play that same DLC on my home Xbox with my account?

    Forza 3...DLC not showing up on game after update

    Unable to see DLC on Forza 3 after the newest update. All my saves, cars, and dlc cars and tracks are missing. In my download history it only show 2 dlc. On my hard drive it shows all my saves and dlc. Tried deleting and redownloading DLC but Xbox live requires
    me to repurchase these items even though it was already paid for months ago before the update. Im missing the Exotic Car Pack, VIP Car Pack, Holiday Car Pack, Legends Car Pack, and possibly others. they are actually being removed from my download history as
    i speak with xbox live support.

    Accidental liscence transfer?

    A couple of my friends claim to have each others downloads on their xbox. They told me that they got on xbox and it just happened. Neither of them have logaged in on the others xbox. I think it's *** that it happened randomly but it really happened. I
    played dlc with one of them earlier that they did not pay for. How?

    Yes. Anything you purchase on your account can be used on any console you're signed into.

    Hey there, when you originally purchased and downloaded them was it on another console by chance? If so you will need to do a license transfer and re-download the content:

    support.xbox.com/.../download-content

    -

    If what I said above doesn't apply, try logging in the profile that originally bought the content on a second controller while signed into your new account on the first controller and see if you can access it then.

    If the dlc is on the console it was originally downloaded to, there should be no problem using it with any account. If the Xbox is different, then you need to do a license transfer.
