    DLC not installing


    Hello everyone I recently purchased a DLC for a game and for some reason it keeps saying that the "app is not installed" in the add on section and will not let me play that DLC that I purchased for the game. Now I have tried all the usual things that is recommended resetting the Xbox power cycling it down uninstalling the game and reinstalled it. Now this isn't the first time this has happened to me with a DLC that I can't play even though they have taken my money it happened with Alien isolation too. You can see in the pictures included that I own it have installed it and the picture shows that "app is not installed" I am at a loss as to what to do now I fear I have lost even more money now

    Test Drive Unlimited 2 won't work :(

    You have to install the mandatory dlc in the extras section!!!! These a total of 4 dlc(s) to be installed!

    Hello Victor,

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have a question on DLC content. When a game is installed some DLC installs automatically, but some does not. You have to manually install some DLC. We recommend checking the game under manage game
    and add ons. All DLC should show in ready to install or installed.

    Sims 4 won't play on Series X

    Update. The game will not load on my series X with any dlc installed. Only the base game.

    It will load with dlc installed on the new profile. But I don't have access to the dlc since that profile doesn't own the dlc.

    It will load on the Xbox one with dlc.

    Make sure you have installed the DLC, go to the gamer tile, and then go to settings (on the controller) to manage the game.

    Manage the game, and check you have installed the DLC, most times people have not installed the DLC to be able to access it.

    This issue just happened to this game, yes I made sure that it was installed and everything else mentioned but the dlc appears installed separate from the game, the dlc is marked as cod Ghosts dlc but it doesn't have the "xbox360" logo on it like another piece of dlc that is installed with the game files, I dunno why.
