I pre-ordered a game for Xbox one with DCL content and the content was never installed and it wants me to buy the DLC content again plus the price of the game again. how can I redeem the DLC I've already purchased with out having to buy the same
game and DLC twice

DLC not downloading

Hello Bl4U. I see you are having trouble downloading the new Spartan Ops for Halo 4. Crazy Lizard has you on the right path here. I will just elaborate on his post to help guide you through this process. Have you tried clearing your hard drive's cache to
see if that is causing the problem? First delete the partial download for the new Spartan Ops.

You can then clear your system's hard drive cache by following these steps:

1) Turn on your XBOX 360 console and on the Dashboard, go to the Settings tab on the right.

2) Click on the 'System' option

3) Click on Storage

4) Highlight the HDD and press the 'Y' button. Then select "Clear System Cache" and select Yes.

5) Turn off your console, then turn it back on and try the download again.

If this does not work, I would suggest deleting the Marketplace System Data File. If you have Spartan Ops partially downloaded again, delete that first once again. You can delete the Marketplace System Data by following these steps:

1) On your console, go to Settings, then Select System

2) Select Storage and choose your HDD

3) Select System Items

4) Select Marketplace System Data

5) Select Delete and restart your console.

6) Now try your download again.

These are your best 2 options for fixing this problem. I will continue to follow this post to see if this has solved your problem. Hopefully this will fix any problems you are having. Also, remember that since it is a larger file, that it may take some time
to download. How long did you wait for the download at 1% before resetting all of your gear? Please let me know so I can further assist you as quickly as possible.

DLC not downloading

I have ADSL-2, a N+ router, and an 'Unlimited Internet" cap, I have download items before, but whenever I try to download a specific one; Halo 4: Spartan Ops episode 6-10; 2.23 GB, it gets to 1% and does nothing, I have reset all my gear, I have deleted
local content and tried re-downloading thrice, but none go past 1% at all. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Brandon,

If you don't mind what is the game that you just pre-ordered? Depending on the game and developer the DLC could be released till the launch date of the game.

I hope to hear back soon to give you more information once I know which game it is

Have you did hard reset on your console?

If the game has been relased, highlight the game in your games and apps, pess the menu button on your controller, and go to manage game. It should show any add-ons you would have purchased. If they're not installed, you can install them from there.

Hello BrandonYates2, it's quite possible that developers have not yet allowed to download these DLCs, you need to be patient, within a few days DLC will be available.

It still won't download and I download/buy any other dlc it's just the dlc from the pacific rim in game dlc store and that's how I bought the dlc but it just download so I'm thinking that the makers of pacific rim need to fix it

I can't access the DLC with an alternate tag, but yes, all the DLC was originally downloaded to this console. The tag that i downloaded it with is still on this console. Again, the DLC appears on my alternate accnt, but i can't upload it. It's downloaded,
but not accessible. The DLC is also not redownloadable on marketplace with an alternate accnt, even though it is already downloaded on the console. Help?

Hi I'm having the same problem here and I tried downloading The crackdown characters dlc and and it's downloading right now, but I still can't download the game just the dlc's, so what the dlc is no region locked?

If the dlc was downloaded on your xbox 360, install the game , and then go to manage game and the dlc should be there ready for download

You can, if the content was first downloaded on that console after the purchase.

If you switched consoles after the account purchased the DLC, that account has to sign in on the new console, and do a

License Transfer, and then re-download the DLC again.

With the DLC-owning account signed in on that Xbox 360 console, go to the settings hub on the far right of the dashboard, and then to "Account". There under "Your Billing Options" is the option to do the "License Transfer".

After the License Transfer is done, you need to download the updated usage license of the Broken Stell DLC simply by re-downloading the DLC from the marketplace or your download history. If you still have the DLC on that console' storage device, it will
simply download the tiny license file instead of the whole DLC.

After the License Transfer and re-downloading the updated usage license, the DLC can be used offline again by any other account.
