DLC issues (transferred files)

My friend doesnt use Xbox anymore so he gave me his account to use as he has DLC on it that i wanted. ive downloaded his profile and transfered the licenses and re downloaded the DLC. but when i got to use it, it tells me to buy the DLC. How do i fix this.
im playing the game using his account aswell.

Is anyone having issues with the save file from ep 1? None of my choices transferred over, they're all different.

Crossplay is not an issue, but play anywhere potentially is. On 360 many of the CoD/GTA hacks were profile/saved file based. What this means was a player would transfer their save to the PC (using USB/transfer cable) and modify the files. A modified console was not required.

It is my understanding that it's not possible on XB1 yet, but with Play Anywhere's save transfer, it could be. So in theory someone could start a game on PC, mod their save file to give all perks, cars, etc. then transfer that back to their Xbox. I would assume that at some point MS will have some sort of save file verification when transferring save files from PC to Xbox and vice versa.

 

I'd delete all his dlc and his account

What it is marketplace theft a serious violation of the terms of use and can lead to a console ban

Accounts and dlcs cannot be sold or transfered to anyone but the original owner

 

ok didnt know this. he had deleted all billing info anyway. but ive deleted it now mate
