DLC FOR EVERYONE ON XBOX ONE CONSOLE???

Hey guys, I was just wondering that if you redeemed a DLC with a code that DLC would be available for everyone on the console and not just the profile who downloaded it? For example, my brother got Dragon Age: Inquisition Deluxe Edition. Now the deluxe edition
includes the special armor and weapons. So my brother downloaded it and played it and everything was dandy, but, when I go to open the chest where the DLC content should have been, there is nothing there.My other brother was able to get it but the next day
it said that DLC content was missing and it was removed. So do we share game DLC at all? Or do we only share the DLC that we buy digitally? OR if we cant share redeemable DLC codes, and if it only goes to the person who redeemed it? Thanks!

It seems that everyone I have asked says they have more than one profile on one email, heres for sure, I cant download the spelunky dlc and I am damn sure not getting the next gen xbox.

I believe DLC is available to all accounts if the one that downloaded it makes that system their 'Home console.

Do you brothers game on other One consoles? If so that could be the reason it can't be accessed, the one who redeemed the code made another system their 'Home.'

Its easier.

You downloaded the DLC to your console which is your home console.

Well everyone on that console can play it since it is your home console even when your account is not on it.

If you log into a other xbox which would be the one of your wife ,you can redownload all your games and DLC to it and use it.

But your account has to be logged into that console to use it while the home console can used by everyone.

just as everyone has stated. Xbox One dlc will not work with Xbox 360 games & same goes for xbox 360 dlc will not work with Xbox One games either.

So if you buy DLC on console # 1, it will be on that console. Anyone on that console now or in the future will be able to use that DLC.

Then, if you want that DLC on console # 2, you can redownload it, and it will now be on both of your consoles.

BUT, only you can use the DLC on console # 2. No one else. They (your son) will have to use the DLC on console # 1.

If you do a licence transfer, it will reverse it. So that everyone can use the DLC on console # 2, but only you can use it on console # 1.

No you won't be able to. Once console will have the licenses which means everyone will be able to use DLC on the first console. On the second console, only the person who has purchased the DLC will be able
to access the DLC, that too is only if they are connected to Xbox LIVE.
